The fastest and most powerful Corvette of all time comes with a 6.2-liter V8 compressor that delivers 755 horsepower and a 968 Nm of torque to the rear wheels!
The new Corvette ZR1 is the very top of the Chevrolet offer – the large, 6.2-liter V8 petrol engine delivers 755 horsepower and 968 Nm of torque, delivered to the rear wheels through a 7-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission. Not all details have been confirmed, but Chevrolet has confirmed that the maximum speed is “higher than 337 kilometers per hour.”
Corvette ZR1 gets an aggressive bodycotype with large air vents (which, in our opinion, do not look very attractive, but at least functional) and many carb extras. The ZR1 can be ordered with two different airbags – the first is the “standard” Low Wing package that allows maximum speed, while the ZTK Performance package adds a front splitter and an adjustable rear spoiler as well as the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, chassis and recycled suspension.
Sales of the Corvette ZR1 will start next spring, and then the prices will be known.
