Porsche did it again, having extended the GTS treatment for the Boxster and Cayman once again. Just like their predecessors, the GTS variants will have a cherry-picked list of performance upgrades.

For example, the 718 GTS models will come standard with the Sport Chrono package, a throaty sport exhaust, and black 20-inch Carrera S wheels. The Sport Design package and track app come standard as well

Both the 718 Cayman and Boxster GTS will share the 2.5-litre flat-four engine with the S models. However, a new intake and revised turbocharger bring the horsepower up by 15, for a total of 365 horsepower. PDK-equipped cars will complete the zero-to-100 km/h sprint in just 4.1 seconds and top out at 290 km/h. A six-speed manual is also available.

Canadian availability has not been announced yet, but the 718 Cayman and Boxster GTS are expected to begin hitting U.S. dealers in March 2018.
